Hergest (OO and OO9)

4mm/OO & OO9 Gauge
Presented by Peter Cullen

This layout assumes that the old horse-drawn tramway which ran from Kington up on the Hergest Ridge was upgraded to a steam-hauled railway to provide a goods and passenger service for the local population.  An interchange was constructed with the GWR at the small village of Hergest situated on the New Radnor extension of the Leominster to Kington branch between Kington and Stanner.

A full history of the line is displayed on the layout.
