Eardley Mor Halt (OO)

4mm/OO Gauge
Presented by Mark Greenland

Eardley Mor Halt is an end-to-end OO gauge layout inspired by Eardington Station on the Severn Valley Railway.  I have used modeller’s license to imagine how the station might look after the hardy band of volunteers have finished their restoration plans.

The goods loop has been reinstated as a passing loop with signals and a signal box added.  As a heritage line an eclectic mix of steam and diesel locomotives can be seen passing through Eardley Mor with both passenger and freight traffic.

Those familiar with Eardington Station will recognise the road bridge and farm access bridge, the pond and vegetable plot, the station, goods office and many other details.

This is my first layout and was born out of a desire to learn many aspects of railway modelling within a reasonable timescale.

The layout utilises DC (analogue) control with Peco code 100 track enabling older and current models to run side by side.
